usellit vs Epicor Eagle.
Eagle has run hardware, farm and paint stores for decades and expects to be the whole business system. What that means when the books move to NetSuite or QuickBooks Online.

| Speed at the counterNative app or browser; what reviewers report | Strong A native app, not a browser: search runs on the device, Wi-Fi or not, and a sale posts straight to the ERP in a fraction of a second | Partial A dated Windows interface, "sluggish" after operating-system upgrades; yet long-time users say "customers in and out very quickly" |
| Time to go liveFrom signing to the first real sale | Strong Connect NetSuite or QuickBooks Online, pair a device and ring real sales the same day: a self-serve 14-day trial on your own catalog, no card, read-only until you say otherwise | Weak Months; implementation $5,000 to $50,000 and more; the first year for ten users estimated at $23,000 to $98,000 (ITQlick) |

Does Epicor Eagle integrate with NetSuite?
Not natively. Eagle is its own ERP; NetSuite is reached through middleware such as Workato or Commercient, and Epicor's own partner page concedes that third-party integrations leave data "in silos". Retailers we spoke with put it plainly: "almost everyone who uses Epicor uses their POS", and the hardware stores that left Eagle changed ERP at the same time. usellit assumes NetSuite or QuickBooks Online is the record and posts to it directly.
What does Eagle cost, and how long does it take?
Epicor quotes rather than publishes. Analysts estimate $200 to $500 per user per month, $5,000 to over $50,000 to implement, and a first year for ten users of $23,000 to $98,000; a fifteen-year customer reports "$65k annually for support". Implementations run months. usellit's trial runs on your catalog the same day, from a public price list.
What hardware does it run on?
Windows terminals and proprietary peripherals, with a server on site or in Epicor's private cloud, which StatusGator logged with 2,700-plus incidents in a year. Reviewers call the interface dated and "sluggish" after Windows upgrades. usellit runs on the iPads, iPhones and Android devices a store already owns, with Star printers and any keyboard-mode scanner.
What about Propello, Epicor's cloud POS?
Propello is Epicor's newer cloud product at a reported $349 per user per month. Its small review base is harsh: "clumsy and full of bugs", "each morning you hold your breath to see if it will even boot up", a QuickBooks link "oversold". Epicor's Prism AI, announced in June 2026, is for Kinetic and Prophet 21, not Eagle or Propello.
Where Eagle is strong
Depth. Units of measure, parts and paint catalogs, trade accounts, real-time chain-wide data for co-ops and dealers: nothing here matches it for a hardware store happy to make Eagle the whole system. A retailer who moved off it called it "old school, ugly, but capable" and still missed its paint mixing.

How is usellit different from Epicor Eagle?

- Conversation evidence: notes and transcripts from more than 160 conversations with retailers and partners evaluating point of sale, January 2025 to September 2026, searched by product name. Counts are of conversations, not customers.
- Circles weigh documented capability first, then the balance of recent (2024 to 2026) reviews, then conversations. A single reviewer never moves a circle on its own.
- No site publishes an "ease of setup" score; ease-of-use scores stand in where quoted.
