FAQ
Questions people ask us first
What does the AI cost?
AI is an add-on called Spark, priced per company as a set number of actions a month: Spark is $99 for 1,000 actions and Spark Plus is $299 for 4,000, with 20% off paid yearly. Buy as many of either as you need - six Spark packs is 6,000 actions a month - and another month's allowance can be bought any time on top. One action is one question put to the model - an item found by description, a customer brief, a dashboard read, a catalog regroup, a posting or import error analysed and put right. Spark is bought alongside a plan, on every tier. Help in the console and on every terminal, and the "Ask why" on any posting, are free on every plan and never counted. When a month's actions are used, AI pauses and your terminals keep selling.
What is actually free?
The app, on as many iPads, iPhones and Android devices as you like. Your POS clerks and your stores, unlimited on every plan. And replacing a device - pair the new one to the same terminal at no extra cost. What you pay for is the console, charged per user, and each terminal you sell from.
What counts as a terminal?
A terminal is one licensed counter, not one device. You create it in the console and pair a device to it; if that device is lost or replaced you pair the new one to the same terminal at no extra cost. One device at a time holds a terminal, which is what the license is.
Who counts as a user?
Anyone who signs into the console: admin, system admin, retail director, store manager, view-only. Every role is a user, including view-only. Your POS clerks are not users - they are a separate kind of record with a PIN, no console access and no charge, however many of them you have.
Can two people share a login?
No, and the service stops it rather than only asking. Each account holds one session, so signing in ends the other one. Shared logins defeat the audit trail, which matters most on the question you actually want answered - who put that discount through.
Can we change plan later?
Yes, whenever you like. An upgrade takes effect straight away. A downgrade waits for the end of the term you have already paid for, so nothing is charged twice, and we show you what changes before you confirm it. Your rates hold for the term you are in; anything you add during a term is at the rates on the day you add it.
How do we pay?
Card or bank debit, set up once and automatic after that. No card for the trial. Monthly or annual, and annual is paid up front for 20 percent less. If your business needs a PO and an invoice, ask us.
What if we go over an allowance?
You keep selling. Items and storage are allowances rather than walls: you are warned on the connection screen well before you reach one, and by email if you pass it. If it is still unaddressed after 14 days, updates from your ERP pause until you deal with it, while your terminals carry on trading from the catalog they already hold. Going over never locks your account.
What happens when the internet goes down?
You keep selling. The catalog is cached on the device and sales queue locally up to a limit you set. When the connection returns everything settles and syncs on its own.
Does this replace our ERP?
No, and it is not trying to. Your ERP stays the source of truth for items, customers and finance. usellit is the counter, and it hands everything straight back.
Can the AI change a price or issue a refund on its own?
No. Pricing and promotions are calculated by a deterministic engine. Anything that moves money comes back as a proposal that a person with the right role has to tap.
Where does our data actually sit?
In your own tenant, isolated from every other business, with transactions kept immutably so they can be audited or replayed. Card details never reach our servers at all.
Which ERPs do you support?
Oracle NetSuite and QuickBooks Online, both live today. NetSuite runs deepest, down to SuitePOS records. The connector layer was designed for more than two from the start, so if you run something else, tell us - we are prioritizing by what customers actually ask for.
Do our product pictures come across?
Yes, automatically. usellit fetches the pictures your ERP points at, stores its own copy, optimizes each one down to a few kilobytes, and versions it so a changed image is never served stale. Items without a picture are normal in most catalogs and still sell.
How does the 14 day trial work?
You connect your own ERP and sell against your real catalog for fourteen days, with every feature switched on and no card up front. Nothing is charged until you pick a plan. If you walk away, your account goes read-only for thirty days - you can still sign in and export - and is then deleted. We email you before that happens, and your ERP is untouched throughout.
Try it on your own ERP
