usellit vs Clover.
The terminal your bank offers with the merchant account: quick to set up, pleasant to use. For a store on NetSuite or QuickBooks Online, the question is everything after the sale.

| Speed at the counterNative app or browser; what reviewers report | Strong A native app, not a browser: search runs on the device, Wi-Fi or not, and a sale posts straight to the ERP in a fraction of a second | Partial The Station Duo is "stable, fast"; the Flex and Mini draw "abundant software glitches" and lag at peak hours |

Does Clover connect to NetSuite or QuickBooks Online?
Not itself. QuickBooks Online is reached through third-party apps such as Webgility, Synder or Commerce Sync from $19 a month, NetSuite through a bookkeeping sync (Bookkeep); reviewers report "synchronization issues between Clover and third-party plugins". Two retailers we spoke with said it in different words: "it needs to connect with NetSuite, and Clover doesn't", and "we like Clover a lot; the only reason we're changing is the NetSuite integration". usellit posts to either ERP directly.
What does Clover cost?
The software is published, $30 to $179 a month, and the hardware $199 to $1,899. The catch is the channel: banks and ISOs sell it on 36-month hardware contracts with processing markups, $300 to $600 early-termination fees and, in some reports, four years of liability on the devices. Processing runs 2.3% to 3.5% plus 10 cents depending on who sold it. usellit's price list is public, with no contract on hardware you already own.
Can you take Clover to another processor?
No. The devices are cryptographically paired to the Fiserv merchant account; leave the processor and they are "essentially bricked". usellit runs on Square or Stripe readers you keep, at your own rates.
What does the record say?
Two records. The software rates 3.8 on Capterra and 4.9 on the App Store across 53,000-plus ratings: people like using it. The company rates 1.9 on Trustpilot across 2,195 reviews and carries 376 BBB complaints in three years under Fiserv, almost all billing, contracts and support. Offline mode must be switched on in advance, and a September 2024 outage left stores on cash.
Where Clover is strong
Simplicity. Hardware working in under a day, "ease of use is the greatest attribute", a Station Duo reviewers call "stable, fast". For a single store that keeps its books elsewhere and never needs matrix items, quotes or account customers, it is a fine terminal.

Questions people ask
Does Clover work with QuickBooks Online?
Through third-party apps such as Webgility, Synder or Commerce Sync from about $19 a month; there is no native sync.
Does Clover work with NetSuite?
Only through a bookkeeping sync such as Bookkeep. Retailers on NetSuite generally rule it out for that reason.
Can I use Clover hardware with a different processor?
No. Clover devices are paired to the Fiserv merchant account and stop working if the account moves.
How is usellit different from Clover?
usellit posts to NetSuite or QuickBooks Online directly, runs on your own iPads, iPhones or Android devices with Square or Stripe readers you keep, publishes its prices with no hardware contract, and brings quotes, account customers and Spark AI to the counter.

- Review sites read on the date shown: Capterra, G2, GetApp, Software Advice, TrustRadius, Trustpilot, BBB, the Apple App Store and Google Play; plus vendor documentation, status pages, trade press and consultants' guides.
- Conversation evidence: notes and transcripts from more than 160 conversations with retailers and partners evaluating point of sale, January 2025 to September 2026, searched by product name. Counts are of conversations, not customers.
- Circles weigh documented capability first, then the balance of recent (2024 to 2026) reviews, then conversations. A single reviewer never moves a circle on its own.
- No site publishes an "ease of setup" score; ease-of-use scores stand in where quoted.
